This body of work explores what we want to endure as a legacy of our lives. What do we yearn to be remembered for after we are gone? How do we want to leave our mark on the world beyond our existence? How can we enrich the future?

The works here started as photos that I transferred onto gold-gilded surfaces to capture the preciousness of the ways we seek to leave our mark. Traces of us endure as legacies--whether in words, character, our branch in the family tree, accomplishments; how we lived out our calling in everyday life; or our part in the community.
